Head Instructors :

Description: SageWalk, the Wilderness School is looking for individuals with great people skills, leadership skills, ability to work as a team, and work under stressful situations if they arise. Our Shifts consist of 15 days in the field, 12 days off and 1 day of training each month. This position is direct supervision of student and Line Staff and will be stationed at camp sites during your rotation.

Qualifications: Head Instructors have varied backgrounds and education, and the diversity is welcomed and promoted by SageWalk. To work for SageWalk as a Head Instructor you must be at least 21 years of age and have 2 years experience in Wilderness Programs. You will need to be certified in WFR, CPR , CPI; EMT or W-EMT are always welcomed.

Salary: commensurate with certifications and experience.
