Wilderness Therapist :

Description: SageWalk, the wilderness school is looking for individual with great people skills, leadership skills, the ability to work as a team, enjoy the outdoors in all weather conditions, and work under stressful situations as they arise.  Our work week consists of two days in the field and three days in the office updating parent’s and other professional referrals.  Key responsibilities include providing individual and group therapy to students, supervision of filed staff along with assisting them in the implementation of treatment plans.

Qualifications: Wilderness therapist must have a graduate level degree in either counseling, psychology or social work. Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon State License within 12 months of employment.  Must be competent in providing health treatment services in a way that maximizes client independence and family empowerment.

Salary: commensurate with certifications and experience.
